The web platform allows applicants/users to register and send in credentials - bio, videos, essays etc that would be verified and then used to select contestants for the TV program. There is also an admin portal where the GUS admin can access information submitted on the applicant end for reviewing after which the applicant can either be accepted or declined. Once contestants are selected, people can follow the program from the website to see events and timelines, learn more about the contestants and also vote for their favorite contestants as program continues.

I was hired by an agency as Contract Product Manager on the Gulder Ultimate Search Platform. The website albeit built on a short timeline had several phases. I started off the process of building with requirement gathering and learning more about the brand and also the program in previous editions because it was quite a unique brand. I ideated the solution for both website for general audience and admin portal for GUS officials with the designer while working with engineers to build out the solution. It was particularly interesting and tasking as we had to make provisions for the traffic that itโs planned to drive - techology wise. Also, I did a lot of client management and worked with their marketing team. I also set up analytics for the website and the portals, tracked numbers daily, launched initiatives and worked with the marketing team to bring the numbers up as much as possible. I also covered for support as we didnโt have a customer support or experience person.
